Columbia Distributing honors all races, ethnicities, identities, cultural backgrounds and beliefs. We recognize these are the backbone of the communities we serve. While in the past we’ve fallen short of reflecting our diverse communities, this statement is a commitment to changing that. As we continue on this journey, we also seek to learn more about the nonprofits we’re supporting and how they support historically underserved communities in our service areas throughout Washington, Oregon and California. We hope to learn from your work and use these learnings in our growth toward greater equity. We believe that by asking questions about race, gender, ability, income, LGBTQ identity and geography, we can better pinpoint where our efforts are helping and how we can provide stronger support where needed most in our community. We hope this will help us benchmark our efforts today and guide strategy around our support in the future.
